I was mildly amused by the granny knickers which were a bit old school even for the mid sixties.
Maybe they were standard issue for nurses at the time.

It's interesting that many serial killers have cited this film and the book it was based on as among their favorites.

The film industry has always been kind of prudish when it comes to women's underwear for some reason.

Even today, they'll show a woman totally nude, but when it comes to showing her in her unmentionables they expect us to believe that young women still wear 70's style granny panties instead of thongs which are pretty much the standard these days.

I prefer widescreen, myself. In flat widescreen (1.85:1), it give you better close ups of the damsels. In Scope Widescreen movies (2.35:1) you get more information on the sides. Sometimes that means more damsel. Perfect example is Silent Madness. In the full screen version, you only see Belinda Montgomery's gagged face in her bondage scene. In the widescreen, you actually see some of her bonds.

They really should put that out on 3D Blu Ray. It's a terrible movie, but I kinda like it.
